A lakeside cottage on sloping terrain is a picturesque setting for an outdoor living space featuring a luxury infinity edge pool that blends seamlessly into the landscape. The surrounding hills, and clouds above, resemble an impressionistic painting as reflected in the waters of the pool and lake, thereby obscuring the line between built and natural.
Perennials in bed areas and urns add a splash of color to an outdoor living space that celebrates water. The cable railing, required by code for safety, was chosen to preserve views of the lake as seen from the pool and patio areas. Lounge areas (rooms) around the pool are designed to visually connect site users to the lake and to others on the deck to the left.
