The swimming pool is 20' x 40' and features a 7' square integral spa.
Landscape Architect | Landscape Design Consulting: Lounge areas and walkways are mirrored diagonally across the pool to create a Yin & Yang form. The square shape of the spa, as framed by its coping, is expressed onto the patio, by way of banding, to define a lounge area. This play on shapes, with mirroring and repetition, lends continuity to a meditative space.
Landscape Architect | Landscape Design Consulting: Patio banding closest to the house is centered on existing deck columns, and the opposite wall of the pool is aligned with the existing deck staircase. These, and other details, reflect a curated outdoor living space that expresses the architectural form and function of the residence into the landscape.
